As you may have heard, there has been a recent spate of hackings across LiveJournal, and it seems to be larger communities that are being hacked. Once the hackers have gained access to a community, they make a post saying that the community is closing. They include several links in this post. Do not, under any circumstances, click any of these links, as they are intended to spread a malware keylogger.

To see what these posts look like, HERE is an example from a recently hacked community. Note: this link does not go to a community that has been hacked, simply a community that has posted a screencap example.

If you see any suspicious posts on any communities...
# Don't click any strange links as they're there to spread a virus.

# Please report the post to LiveJournal immediately.

# Contact the moderators of the community.

To prevent your journal from being hacked, this is what you can do:
# Email Management - clear out all unactive email adresses.

# Change Password - Make the password difficult to figure out and don't base it on your username.

# Set a Secret Question - Add one that you can answer if you forget your password.

Personal Note: They appear to be targeting Mods of Communities, but no one is safe really. I recommend EVERYONE do these things asap to protect yourselves, your journals, and your communities. Also if you could repost this or just plain spread the word, that would help!

I'm finally on Christmas vacation!!!

YAY!

I plan on watching lots of TV shows and movies and reading books I bought months ago, but never had the time to read (finishing Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility, reading Austen's Emma, Shakspeare's Romeo and Juliet and continue my fourth rereading of Twilight. ;))

University starts tomorrow.  I don't know how I feel about that yet.  A part of me is excited to see what kinda of classes I'm gonna have, to see some of my friends again.  The other part is kinda sad that my summer vacation is alredy over.  Those three months and a half passed by extremely fast.

Well, anyway, I'll post again in a few days to tell you how it turned out.

Here they are.  The pictures might be a little bit blurry.  The meaning behind the tattoo is that the flower represents my mom because she always draws it and the curvy lines is to make it look light a bracelet.  The entire thing was drawn by my mother, so I'm the only person on the planet that has a tattoo like this. ;)

So, my second tattoo is done.  I'm really, really happy with it!  The girl was awesome and she did a great job.  It wasn't as painful as I thought it would be.

Pictures will follow soon because I have a plastic on it, but I'm taking it off really soon, so if my dad's camera is working, I will take a picture tonight or tomorrow.

Less than 24 hours before my tattoo (23 hours and a half to be exact :p)!  I'm really excited.

I'm pathetic. LOL

Okay, so the university freakout is over.  My schedule problems are finally solved.  I will call the university tomorrow to ask my questions about my tuition payment and I will go visit the campus next Tuesday or Wednesday to see how everything works.  So, everything will be fine.

And only a day left (well, almost) before I'm getting inked again.  I'm just really happy about this one because it has a real sentimental value (I'm getting the little flower my mother always draws). ♥ :D

Oh, and we began calling computer stores to see how my new computer will cost.  So, that means I will get it really soon! *big grin*
